This is a consultancy assignment starting at the end of June!
About the role
In the role of Senior Technical Recruiter, you will become a key player in our client's global Talent Acquisition team. You will work in a fast-paced and complex technical environment where the focus is on identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent in areas such as Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI.
As a consultant at Academic Work, you will have a dedicated consultant manager who supports your career development. This assignment is initially a fixed-term project starting between June 22–29 and extending through the turn of the year, with a possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you own the entire recruitment process from start to finish. You act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and business leaders to drive successful talent acquisition strategies.
- Drive end-to-end recruitment processes for senior and complex technical roles.
- Act as an advisory partner to hiring managers to understand business needs and define requirement profiles.
- Identify and proactively source top talent via creative channels and networks.
- Ensure a bias-free, high-quality, and inclusive assessment process.
- Guarantee an absolutely world-class candidate experience throughout the process.
- Contribute market insights and continuously improve recruitment processes and internal ways of working.
- Collaborate closely with the global TA and HR team to share best practices.
We are looking for someone who
- Has extensive experience working as a Technical Recruiter or Senior Recruiter.
- Has experience recruiting within complex technical areas such as Engineering, Data Science, ML, or AI.
- Posesses strong drive and the ability to independently close the entire recruitment lifecycle (from sourcing to contract signing).
- Is a skilled communicator with documented experience in successful stakeholder management.
- Thrives and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, international, and changing environment.
- Has technical curiosity and a willingness to learn. You do not need to be a programmer yourself, but you must understand the domain.
- Speaks fluent English.

Our recruitment process
This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work, and our client's request is that all questions regarding the role are sent to Academic Work.
We apply continuous selection and will take down the ad when enough candidates have reached the final stage of the recruitment process. A CV is required when applying. We do not use cover letters as a selection method, so they are not required. The recruitment process includes two selection tests: a personality test and a cognitive ability test. The tests are a tool to find the candidate with the highest potential for the role and to promote equality, diversity, and a fair recruitment process.
