Upplands-Bro Municipality is launching a resource school this autumn. The operation will start on a small scale but will gradually grow to accommodate more students. We are creating a safe, inclusive, and learning-oriented environment with high staff density, adapted teaching, and close collaboration with student health services. As a resource pedagogue, you will be part of a small team consisting of two teachers and 2–3 resource pedagogues. You will work with approximately 15 students who require clarity, structure, and individual support. The focus is on building relationships, creating security, and adapting teaching to each student's needs. You will help shape a learning environment where students have the opportunity to succeed – both socially and academically.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has completed the Child and Youth Care program with a pedagogical focus, a support teacher education, or another education deemed equivalent by the employer. Additional education in special needs pedagogy, NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), or pedagogical work with children and youth is an advantage.
• Has experience working with students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPD) or special educational needs.
• Is confident in using various pedagogical methods and adaptations.
• Has good experience and ability to build relationships and adapt support based on the student's needs.
• Is structured, flexible, and has a solution-focused approach.
• Thrives in working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, student health services, and guardians.
• Has a genuine commitment to strengthening students' learning, self-esteem, and hope for the future.

The position is full-time. Probation may apply. Start date by agreement.
