Welcome to us
Solhemsskolan is located in Spånga, about a five-minute walk from Spånga Centrum. You can easily reach us by commuter train from, among other places, T-Centralen. Spånga C has many bus lines to our local area.
Solhemsskolan is a four-track school for grades F-6 with approximately 745 students and 100 employees. Solhemsskolan consists of two school units, Solhemsskolan and Solhemsängens skola. The school leadership consists of the principal, three deputy principals, and an administrative manager.

Your role
We are looking for you who want to work as a childcare assistant in the role of class contact. At our school, this means being a leisure-time staff member who supports students in the classroom and during breaks during the school day, and then has an active role in the leisure-time center. The position, which is a one-year temporary contract, is located in grade 1 in a work team with two classes. The work team includes two teachers, three leisure-time staff members, and two student assistants.
In the role of class contact, you need to be secure, stable, and able to work according to instructions from teachers and the leisure-time center manager. Your focus is to ensure the students' care in a secure manner, while also contributing to their learning by being supportive in the classroom, being ready to teach the class in the teachers' absence, and actively contributing to learning taking place at the leisure-time center through various activities.
Routines and structures are fundamental in working with children. Therefore, it is important that you have the ability to absorb established routines and stick to what has been said and agreed upon. As an employee, you play an important part in noticing what works well or less well, so that you can continue to develop the operation in collaboration with your colleagues.
The foundation for success in working with students lies in a combination of clarity and relationship-building. Your ability to communicate and absorb communication is crucial. In meetings with special education teachers, guardians, and other staff, you need to be able to listen and translate tips and theory into practice.

Your competence and experience
- Completed upper secondary education
- Childcare education is meritorious
- Experience/knowledge of NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) as well as work in the classroom and within the leisure-time center is meritorious
- Good language skills in Swedish are required
