Björkhagen School is a grades 1-9 school located south of south, amidst the greenery on the border of the Nacka Reserve with beautiful green areas. There are approximately 780 students and 95 employees in total.

The school leadership consists of the principal, two deputy principals, and an administrative manager.

Your role

In the role of a leisure center teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring that the instruction is designed in accordance with the Education Act, the curriculum, and other national and municipal regulatory documents.

In the leisure center, you and your colleagues offer the students a meaningful leisure time by starting from the students' needs, interests, and experiences, but also by continuously challenging them further and inspiring new discoveries. In your teaching, you work to promote the students' imagination, empathy, and ability to learn together with others through play, movement, and creative activities with aesthetic forms of expression, as well as exploratory and practical working methods.

Together with your colleagues, you work for a trusting, open, and respectful collaboration with homes.

Your qualifications and experience

You who apply:

• are a certified leisure center teacher
• have experience in conducting instruction that gives the student the opportunity to develop ideas, solve problems, and put ideas into action.

You are secure, stable, have good self-insight, and adapt your approach depending on the situation. You appreciate working towards goals and focus on continuous improvements of the operations and your own professional practice. You have good collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and guardians. You have a good ability to listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. You are structured by planning, organizing, and prioritizing the work in an effective way.
