About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Mathematician who wants to help develop the mathematics behind our slot games — the very foundation of the gaming experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for you if you want to combine your interest in mathematics with creativity, gaming, and innovation.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced mathematicians and gradually build knowledge on how game models are designed, balanced, and analyzed. In addition to your immediate team of mathematicians, you will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and product owners to create engaging and entertaining game experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and balance mathematical models for slot games
• Develop simulations and analyses to understand and improve the player experience
• Collaborate with game designers, developers, and other teams to ensure high quality in the games
• Contribute to documentation and verification of mathematical models
• Learn and work with regulatory requirements and game-related regulations

About You

You are curious, analytical, and enjoy solving problems. You have a genuine interest in mathematics and gaming and thrive in a creative environment where collaboration and learning are a natural part of daily life. You are unpretentious, communicative, and eager to develop together with the team.

We expect:

• A degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field
• A strong interest in probability theory, statistics, and analysis
• Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Interest in programming and technical tools for analysis and simulation
• Ability to communicate and document clearly
• A genuine interest in gaming and entertainment
• Living in the Stockholm area or planning to relocate here

Merits:

• Experience with programming in object-oriented languages
• Experience with Excel, PowerBI, or other analysis tools
• Interest in quantitative analysis and databases
• Understanding of Swedish
