Viken Miljökonsult AB is expanding its operations in Stockholm by hiring two experienced environmental consultants specializing in contaminated sites. About the Role Viken Miljökonsult works on various projects, including those funded by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, as well as large-scale development projects concerning the management and remediation of contaminated land. Currently, the company handles environmental issues under several long-term contracts with both public clients and private actors. The work includes investigations for public clients, major development projects in the Stockholm area, and assignments for private actors and businesses throughout Sweden. As an environmental consultant at Viken, you will join a team focused on contaminated sites involving soil, water, sediment, and bedrock, as well as related environmental services. The role involves both case processing and project management, combined with the opportunity for fieldwork. Examples of assignments include environmental technical soil investigations including sampling, risk assessments, remediation investigations, and environmental support during the remediation of contaminated sites. We are looking for someone who wants to combine qualified consulting work with some practical fieldwork and who has the drive to help develop a growing business together with experienced consultants. The role will, based on your prior knowledge and development within the company, involve contact with customers, employees, stakeholders, and supervisory authorities. The work includes case processing, project management, and the possibility of sampling soil, water, sediment, and other relevant materials. All of this takes place in a development pace and environment where you can feel secure. The position is located in Stockholm and is a hybrid role. Your Background In addition to a strong interest in environmental issues, we see that you have a relevant natural science education at the college or university level within geology, soil science, earth sciences, environmental science, or equivalent. For example, you may have an educational background as a civil engineer in environment and water or a corresponding specialization. You have several years of experience (at least 3 years) in contaminated sites, possess professional Swedish skills in speech and writing, have normal computer skills (MS Office), and hold a B-driver's license. It is meritorious if you have experience in project management within contaminated sites. We also see that you are engaged, solution-oriented, structured, flexible, collaborative, and non-hierarchical in your work. Since communication is central to the role, both internally and externally, it is important that you can build trust in dialogue with customers, colleagues, stakeholders, and authorities. Requirements

• Relevant natural science education within geology, soil science, earth sciences, environmental science, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in contaminated sites
• Normal computer skills, MS Office
• Professional Swedish in speech and writing
• B-driver's license

• Experience in project management, fieldwork, and case processing within contaminated sites
• Experience in risk assessments, remediation investigations, and remediation of contaminated sites
• Certification for sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment
