We are now looking for secure and pedagogical teachers in multi-crafts (multislöjd) at Malmaskolan in Malmköping, grades 3-9.

HERE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of a crafts teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing teaching for students in grades 3–9. Your daily life is characterized by close collaboration with colleagues, where you create a safe and inspiring learning environment that encourages students' creativity and ability to work with different materials and techniques. You have overall responsibility for the working environment in the craft rooms, which includes everything from material care to ensuring that machines and tools are handled according to current safety regulations.

Your teaching is primarily located at Malmaskolan in Malmköping, but you may also teach at Bettna School. This gives you the opportunity to work in both the larger and smaller school contexts. As a teacher with us, you see assessment and grading as a natural part of the learning process, and you actively participate in the municipality's subject network to contribute to equitable teaching. The role also includes mentorship, where you support students' personal development through trusting relationships and act as an important link between school and home.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

• You are a certified teacher with eligibility to teach crafts in grades 3–9.
• You have good computer skills.
• You have good ability to work structurally with planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching.

Experience in teaching based on the curriculum for crafts, with instruction in various craft disciplines and materials.

Since the position may involve work at several units, we see that you are flexible, independent, and have an easy time collaborating with different collegiums. You are a good relationship builder who builds trust with both students and guardians and contributes to a positive and secure learning environment in all your encounters.

Malmaskolan with approximately 400 students and Bettna School with approximately 65 students form a joint principal area together, where collaboration and trusting relationships form the foundation of the operations.
