Fladängskolan is looking for you who wants to become part of our fantastic school. The school has approximately 420 students in grades F–6 for the upcoming academic year. The operations take place in a pleasant building from 2011, located in the center of Lomma. The surroundings offer beautiful nature with nice walking trails and good commuting opportunities due to proximity to bus connections and Lomma train station. At our school, there is a very good study environment, high goal achievement, and a good atmosphere among the experienced staff.

For the autumn term, we are expanding our special didactic team with a special educator.

We are in an exciting development phase regarding our work with special support at the school, where your experience and contribution will be a welcome addition.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At Fladängskolan, you will have an important and central role, and we expect you to be a secure and clear adult who builds good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Your duties as a special educator involve planning, implementing, and following up on special instruction for students in our newly started special education group. You conduct pedagogical assessments and analyze students' knowledge development in relation to the teaching. You are responsible for creating, evaluating, and following up on action plans for the students. You continuously monitor the collaboration between the student, guardian, mentors, and other staff.

In your closest work team, you will find two special educators linked to grades F-3 and 4-6 respectively, as well as a special educator responsible for the leisure center. Together with the team, you participate in screening all school students, analyzing results, and providing support and training for the school's teachers. You contribute your expertise in teaching-related issues in EHT (Individual Educational Plans), primarily related to reading and writing development, but also for students needing adaptations for NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).

QUALIFICATIONS

• You are an experienced, licensed teacher with special educator certification in language, reading, and writing development.
• You have experience working in special education groups.
• You are skilled at adapting teaching and creating motivation among students.
• You are very skilled at creating, following up, and evaluating action plans and other documentation within your field.
• You are structured, solution-focused, and flexible.
• You thrive in an operation where you get to influence, support, and utilize your ability to collaborate and build relationships.
• You are professional and see the value in good contacts with guardians and colleagues.
