Heleneborgsskolan is a preschool to grade 6 school located in the town center of Svalöv. Our school features bright, pleasant work environments where both adults and children thrive. We are a cheerful team with a high level of well-being. The school has approximately 350 students, 150 of whom are enrolled in the after-school center.

There are excellent conditions for commuting by bus and train to and from Svalöv.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teacher for Special Needs Group

We are looking for an engaged and relationship-building teacher for our special needs group. The assignment involves working with students who require extra support in their knowledge development and social development in a smaller, adapted learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a teacher in the special needs group, you will:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching based on students' individual needs and prerequisites
  • Create a clear, structured, and secure learning environment that promotes both knowledge development and well-being
  • Adapt teaching methods, materials, and content to meet each student's needs
  • Work with clarifying pedagogy and alternative tools where necessary
  • Strengthen students' self-confidence, motivation, and social skills
  • Collaborate closely with the student health team, special education teachers, guardians, and other staff
  • Document, follow up, and analyze student development according to current guidelines
  • Contribute to the school's development work regarding inclusive learning environments

Focus of the Assignment

The assignment involves meeting students who may have various difficulties, such as concentration issues, social interaction challenges, or neuropsychiatric functional variations. You will work in a solution-focused manner with a low-affective approach, where the relationship with the students is central.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in a special needs group.
  • Broad qualification to teach grades 1-6
