Job Description

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas, but work under the regulations of the Swedish Police Authority. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives. You do this by being present in public places, hopefully providing a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act.

The position is a summer temporary role, so we require you to be available for work between weeks 25 and 33. Securitas assigns you a schedule so that you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities well in advance! You will be based at one of our clients in Stockholm and will work either days, evenings, or nights. This position suits you if you enjoy working with people and want to make a socially important contribution. We have a strong camaraderie and broad experience among our colleagues, which enables us to handle most situations. If you want to become part of a tight-knit team, this is the job for you.

Requirements

We believe you are a stable and stress-resistant person who can handle pressure and manage setbacks well. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in interactions with the public, but also understand the responsibility in your role and can remain objective when required. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

Qualifications

• You have a security guard training certificate and a valid security guard permit
• You have passing grades in Swedish and English from the first year of upper secondary school
• Valid B-driver's license

• The position is a summer temporary role with start date by agreement. We apply a 6-month probation period.
• We use selection tests.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you must have passing grades from upper secondary school in Swedish and English and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be required. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval under the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns law-abidingness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and potential vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
