Personal Assistant for a lovely 15-year-old boy

Just outside Vetlanda | 75% | 6-month temporary position, with possibility of extension.

At Poolarna Assistans, we are currently looking for a warm, reliable, and engaged personal assistant for a fantastic 15-year-old boy.

Here you will find varied and meaningful work where you become an important part of the client's daily life and join a wonderful assistant team.

About the position

The position is a temporary assignment of approximately 75% for 6 months, with the possibility of continued employment.

Working hours:

Day/evening 12h, scheduled between 07:00–19:00.

You will always work together with other assistants.

The work is based at the client's home just outside Vetlanda, but you will also accompany them to activities, outings, doctor's visits, and family gatherings.

A varied job – no two days are alike. The work includes among other things:

• 🎮 Video games and activities
• 🏊‍♂️ Swimming and outings
• 🚗 Doctor's visits and errands
• 🎉 Family gatherings

The tasks involve assistance with personal care, medication management, contracture prophylaxis, and documentation.

The work can be physically demanding and involve lifting and transfers. Assistive devices are available in the home.

We are looking for someone who

Is secure, sensitive, and responsible, flexible, and able to adapt to different situations.

Requirements for applicants:

• Fluent in Swedish (reading and writing)
• Valid driver's license and access to a car
• Ability to provide a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (Swedish: belastningsregisterutdrag)

Experience within healthcare and social care is meritorious, but personal suitability is most important to us.
