Professional Galaxy is an IT and technology consulting firm providing highly specialized expertise in IT, software development, SAP, procurement, electronics, and mechanical design. We collaborate with experienced senior experts and deliver strategically valuable competence to some of Sweden's most complex and analytically demanding projects. Our focus is always on high quality, professionalism, and clear, measurable results.
We are currently looking for a Requirements Analyst for our client, the Swedish Police Authority.
Profile Requirements
The Swedish Police Authority has been tasked by the government to prepare for the issuance of personal identification data (PID and LPID) for both natural and legal persons. This is to align Sweden with the European Digital Identity Wallet according to the revised eIDAS regulation.
In light of this government mandate, there is a need to strengthen the IT department's Person Documents section with two Requirements Analysts (Level 3).
Job Description
The role of Requirements Analyst involves assisting the Person Documents section with requirements work in various projects. Examples include the development of PID (Personal Identification Data) & LPID (Legal Personal Identification Data), a new web client for applying for and issuing identity documents used by case officers at service offices, as well as development for foreign missions.
The section is responsible for developing customized solutions related to the police's work in issuing services and products within the field of identity management. As a member of the development team, you will contribute to the group's goals and development work while ensuring that deliveries maintain high quality.
The role of Requirements Analyst includes responsibility for analyzing and documenting requirements for system development. You will join a cross-functional agile working team led by a project manager.
The work involves close collaboration with stakeholders, development teams, and project managers to ensure that solutions meet business needs and technical specifications. Furthermore, you will participate in design and development meetings to clarify requirements and provide technical guidance.
In addition to new development, the role may also involve maintenance, lifecycle management, and to some extent new development of smaller features linked to regulations and legal requirements.
As the work is carried out according to modern agile principles, the development team has significant authority to influence how the work is performed. This gives you the opportunity to develop processes and working methods together with team colleagues that suit the team's dynamics.
The assignment includes knowledge transfer to the Swedish Police Authority's own staff and documentation of completed work.
MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS:
- The consultant must have education in systems science or equivalent acquired experience assessed as equivalent by the Swedish Police Authority.
- The consultant must have at least 5 years of experience in handling and breaking down requirements as a requirements analyst within system development.
- The consultant must have documented experience in independently driving, coordinating, and being responsible for the creation of requirements.
- The consultant must be a Swedish citizen and possess good Swedish skills in both speech and writing.
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience with and good understanding of software architecture and development methods.
- Good experience in translating business needs or legal requirements into developable requirements.
- Good experience working with agile methodology and SCRUM management.
- Experience working in a large authority with at least 5,000 employees.
