As a Production Technician within planing/secondary processing, you work to ensure high technical functionality and availability of production equipment.

In this role, you drive maintenance development, work with technical problem-solving, and actively participate in improvement and project work – always with a focus on creating stable and reliable production. You are also involved in further developing the working environment work related to maintenance and production.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, with working hours during the day and placement at Södra's sawmill in Väröbacka. Start date is by agreement.

We are looking for you who have good communication skills and who can discuss solutions with your colleagues in a pedagogical and non-hierarchical manner. You thrive in a varied role where you get to take your own initiatives and work independently, while also valuing good collaboration and strong teamwork.

You work in a structured manner and have a service-oriented approach in what you do. With your good leadership skills, you easily engage others and create involvement, especially in change and improvement work.

To succeed in the role, you have a technical high school education or equivalent work experience. You have a broad technical understanding and a genuine interest in staying updated on new technology and development within the field. Furthermore, you have experience in maintenance work as well as work within production or process industry.

A B-driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish and English are required.
