About Kungsskolan
Kungsskolan is a secondary school centrally located in Örkelljunga. The school has approximately 300 students distributed across four parallel classes. We offer excellent facilities and a pleasant collegial environment. Together, we are building a school for our students where we strive to meet every student in the best possible way.
Kungsskolan also has a well-functioning student health service and a good organization for special support. We have a very cozy youth center on the school grounds that also serves as a cafeteria and meeting point during school hours.

Job Responsibilities
We are looking for you who enjoy meeting students in language teaching. You are a teacher instructing in German and English, working to develop students' ability to communicate, understand, and integrate the language in both speech and writing. With us, you work with planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, becoming an important part of creating an education where student development is at the center. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues, both in work teams and subject groups. The position includes a mentorship role shared with a colleague.
You contribute by:
- Creating teaching that starts from the students' needs and prerequisites.
- Being a clear leader and role model in the classroom.
- Building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
- Actively participating in the school's development work.
Qualifications
To succeed in the role, you need to have good pedagogical insight and understand how students acquire knowledge in different ways. You adapt the teaching based on the individual's needs and create conditions for learning. A structured working method helps you plan and follow up on teaching in a clear and effective way.
Collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. You work listeningly together with colleagues, share experiences, and contribute to an open climate where teaching is developed jointly. In a changing school environment, it is also important to be able to absorb new ideas and working methods and to see the possibilities in them. By being development-oriented, you contribute to the school's collective learning.
