We are now looking for you who want to be part of the continued development of the food and facilities management operations in Borås Municipality. You will be part of the central organization for Food, Facilities Management, and Janitorial Services within the Primary School Administration, which is divided into 13 areas with one unit manager per area. We are a total of approximately 500 employees working to keep our children fed and happy, and to maintain the environment in our facilities. Environmental and sustainability issues are important to us, and we want you to share our commitment. We actively work to reduce the climate impact of our meals through, for example, reduced food waste and CO2 reduction.

As a Unit Manager, you are responsible for personnel, economy, and working environment in one of the thirteen areas within primary school and preschool. The tasks are varied and challenging, and you will continuously develop in the role.

Together with your employees, you develop processes that make a difference for the children in our schools and preschools. Your leadership is clear, inspiring, and focused on service and quality. You have the ability to listen and the courage to lead and make decisions.

You are part of the management organization for food and facilities management together with 12 unit managers and the Head of Food, Facilities Management, and Janitorial Services, who is also your manager. As support in your work, you have a very close collaboration with other unit managers. You collaborate within the municipality and with union representatives. To develop your leadership, there are opportunities for customized training.

You who apply for the position have a suitable university degree in nutrition science and managerial experience in food and facilities management. Good knowledge of the Matilda food data system is an advantage.
