On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Senior Department Manager within Traffic and Transport in Skövde. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on August 2, 2026, and run until December 31, 2026.

About the Assignment

In the role of Department Manager Traffic, you are responsible for procuring, establishing, monitoring, and developing traffic services together with your employees. The duties include, among other things:

• Responsibility for ensuring and developing business relationships with procured partners
• Responsibility for the department's operational and strategic activities
• Responsibility for the development of the team and its working methods
• Ensures continuous monitoring and development of the procured services
• Involved in the overall strategic business and personnel planning

You have personnel responsibility for 8 employees.

About You

We are looking for you who meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Post-secondary education in economics, law, management, or other relevant experience and education that we assess as equivalent
• Experience in leading and developing businesses
• Documented experience in change management

It is meritorious if you also meet the following requirements:

• Experience and understanding of public transport
• Experience working with establishment, procurement, development, and/or monitoring of contracts
