Unit Manager within Property Management – Västra Götaland County

Valora Bemanning is currently seeking an experienced Unit Manager within property management for a long-term consulting assignment with a client in Västra Götaland County.

This assignment is ideal for you who have extensive experience in property management, leadership, and financial monitoring, and who thrive in a role that combines strategic work with operational responsibility.

About the Assignment

As a Unit Manager, you have overall responsibility for the municipality's property management and lead a unit of approximately 15 employees. The operations include, among other things:

• maintenance planning
• rental management
• energy and environmental monitoring
• vehicle coordination
• fire safety
• system administration
• locks and alarms
• cleaning supervision

You work closely with both internal and external partners, such as tenants, contractors, and other functions within the organization. The role also involves participation in the management group and working on the development of local supply processes and strategic issues.

Responsibilities

The role includes, among other things:

• leading and developing property management at both strategic and operational levels
• monitoring rental management, tenders, and framework agreements
• ensuring that goals and strategies are implemented
• responsible for economy, work environment, and personnel
• developing routines and governing documents
• building good relationships with tenants and partners
• ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with current legislation

Qualifications

Requirements

• at least 5 years of experience in property management
• at least 3 years of experience in financial monitoring
• at least 5 years of managerial experience with personnel responsibility
• at least 3 years of experience in contracts and procurement

Preferred Qualifications

• knowledge of property law
• experience from politically governed organizations

• Duration: 6 months
• Location: Västra Götaland County
