RESPONSIBILITIES

What we are looking for is a curious, empathetic, flexible, and meticulous employee with horn as their main subject, who enjoys teaching both individually and in groups.

Special emphasis is placed on ensemble conducting. We work with students of all ages, from the youngest in baby rhythmics to young adults and sometimes adults.

We have an extensive concert activity, and by tradition, voluntary participation in the Borlänge Orchestra Association is also included.

Working hours are during the day and evening.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic requirements for the position:

• University college of music or equivalent higher instrumental and pedagogical education.
• Very good oral and written skills in Swedish.
• Category B driver's license.

Personal qualities:

• Empathetic, flexible, meticulous, and curious.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience in pedagogical activities with horn teaching, preferably in a music or cultural school.
• Knowledge of the Suzuki method.
• Ensemble conducting.
• Good knowledge of English and other languages.
