About the Position

Norra Skolan is a two-stream school for grades F-6 where the whole day is equally important. We have three after-school centers, two of which are located within the school premises and one outside. We educate curious and knowledge-hungry students and encourage them to constantly learn new things. We work with a clear focus and with great respect for each other's similarities and differences. All students are in varying degrees in need of support and guidance throughout their school years. We work together on this at the school through the development area "an accessible and adapted learning environment".

Responsibilities

We are looking for a special needs teacher who, together with other professionals in the same profession at the school, works to ensure that our students reach their goals. The position also includes some targeted support for a student in preschool class. In this work, you build relationships with the class teachers and challenge them on adaptations and support that can be provided for students in the classroom environment. As a special needs teacher with us, you are part of the school's student health team where you have a clear role. You work in a team with other special needs teachers and have a collaborative role between educators and school management.

• Provide consultative support and supervision in pedagogy to teachers.
• Conduct pedagogical mapping/investigations in collaboration with the school's pedagogues.
• Develop action plans and follow up on these.
• Monitor the external environment regarding pedagogy and pedagogical development work.
• Document according to routine in the school's operational system.
• Conduct teaching and conversations/meetings with the student health team (SHL).

Qualifications

• We are looking for you with a teacher's license with a specialization in special needs education.
• We place great importance on you being a good leader, having an easy time collaborating, being receptive, and secure.
• You need to be flexible, have an easy time collaborating, and be solution-oriented.
