LBS – Creative High School in Helsingborg offers university-preparatory education within the Technology Program and the Arts Program, with specializations in Game Development, Game Graphics, and Digital Design. The school has approximately 180 students. We are now looking for a teacher for our Technology Program.

Your Role

We are now offering a 100% position for teaching Physics, Chemistry, and Technology (including Design/Construction) within our Technology Program. The role also includes mentorship. You will also play a key role in continuously developing the technology education together with your colleagues. As a teacher at LBS, you will be highly involved in the school's systematic quality assurance work and pedagogical development.

Your Profile

Primarily, we are looking for you who are a certified teacher and have a strong interest in developing our Technology Program. In addition to your sharp subject-matter expertise, you will contribute engagement, humor, and a lack of pretension to our school. Together with the principal and colleagues, you will take responsibility for the school's pedagogical development, subject development, and the development of your own professional competence. You are creative in your planning and execution of teaching, create a desire to learn, and have the ability to see students as individuals with different needs and motivations. In the classroom, you are a secure leader and skilled at building good relationships with students. It is an advantage if you have other creative competencies or interests.

Other Information

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months (provided you meet the School Act's requirements for qualification). Start date by agreement, preferably at the beginning of the school year in August.
