We are looking for Security Specialists for an assignment with a government agency.

This is a consulting assignment.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

Specialists within business protection (security protection, information security, crisis management, access control, civil preparedness, systematic fire protection work, etc.).

The assignment involves being a resource within the agency's operations and the business protection unit in one of the programs/projects in Sweden. Initially primarily within larger infrastructure projects, but other projects within the operations in Sweden may also become relevant to support.

Clarification of the Assignment

The specialist's role is to primarily work operationally with and support projects in adhering to decided working methods within the area of civil preparedness and business protection. When the agency's management system is insufficient, the specialist supports the development of project-specific guidance.

The specialist is part of the project staff and reports to the chief of staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate working methods within the business protection unit (including security protection) and ensure that requirements and guidelines in the area are followed.
• Support and guide operations in the application of working methods and tools within the business protection unit. This may involve supporting/leading work with security-protected procurements, drawing up security protection agreements and security protection agreements and contracts (SUA), information security, continuity planning, physical security including access, and systematic fire protection work.
• Continuously evaluate the need for training or other competence-enhancing measures for employees within the competence area of business protection based on the program's reporting. Ensure that relevant training activities are organized and carried out, for example within confidentiality and security protection.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor crisis management capabilities within the program.
• Drive the program's preventive crisis work, conduct introductions to crisis routines for new employees, quality-assure the program's crisis side, and conduct crisis exercises with the project manager, project leader, and key personnel.
• Contribute to the work on experience management within the business protection unit, for example in follow-up, reporting, and evaluation of incidents and crises that have occurred.

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

• Have an academic degree in a field relevant to the position or other education combined with operational experience that we assess as equivalent.
• At least three years of operational experience with information security, security protection, and civil preparedness.
• At least three years of operational experience with security issues in construction projects or the public sector.
• At least three years of operational experience in programs/projects/organizations working to contribute to developing the program's security maturity, and together with others driving and implementing such development.
• Have experience supporting and guiding operations in the application of working methods and tools within the business protection unit. This involves support in work with security-protected procurements and contracts (SUA), information security, continuity planning, and physical security including access.
• Have knowledge and have worked within the Swedish crisis preparedness system, as well as experience supporting and guiding operations in the application of working methods for crisis management.
• Have documented knowledge of laws, regulations, and directives within the security area.
• Have experience leading security protection analyses, risk and vulnerability analyses, or similar investigations.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
