Aggerudsskolan is part of the school administration and is located in the southern part of Karlskoga. We have approximately 400 students at the school, and we work collegially to develop teaching in our classrooms and after-school centers.

Job Responsibilities
As a student coach, you play a very important role in the students' well-being throughout the school day. You are available as support during breaks and various study situations, as well as a guide and supplementary adult support at the school. You collaborate closely with the school counselor, educators, and other staff.
Your work is based on the conviction that everyone can succeed and that students are given the opportunity to grow, develop, and strengthen their self-confidence.
The responsibilities include, among other things:
- Motivating, supporting, and helping students or individual students throughout the school day, for example during breaks, lessons, and transitions
- Being involved in the school's work regarding bullying cases and the interventions that are made
- Actively participating in and planning meaningful break activities
- Working proactively and preventively to promote student attendance
- Being part of the school's safety work
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have completed post-secondary education, for example as a youth worker or after-school leader. Experience in similar work and with children/students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) is meritorious.
The assignment requires that you are secure and have the ability to work independently, have good cooperation skills with students, guardians, colleagues, and external parties, as well as the ability to build good relationships with them.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
Police Certificate
To work in preschools, schools, and youth and leisure activities, you must, according to the Register Control Act, provide a certificate of good conduct from the police. You must request the certificate yourself from the Swedish Police Authority using the form "Extract from the criminal record" in the form archive on the police website.
Probationary employment may occur.
