We are now looking for an engaged and service-oriented Energy and Climate Advisor who wants to help develop our work in Järfälla, Solna, Sundbyberg, and Ekerö.
As an Energy and Climate Advisor, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact and create meaningful change for the environment. By spreading knowledge to individuals, associations, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, you contribute to reducing energy consumption and climate impact in the city.
The position is located within the Department for Sustainable Development at the Municipal Executive Office. The work is led by the Sustainability Manager, and the department consists of 12 employees with roles such as Sustainability Strategist, Environmental Strategist, Environmental Coordinator, Energy Specialist, Energy and Climate Advisor, and Chemical Coordinator.
The department drives Järfälla Municipality's work towards sustainable development. This means striving for a balance between ecological, social, and economic values. We contribute to ensuring that those who live and work in the municipality are offered good conditions for making sustainable choices.

Job Responsibilities
As an Energy and Climate Advisor, you combine counseling, project administration, reporting, marketing, and outward-facing activities. You work with varied issues including solar cells, heat pumps, electric vehicle charging, mobility, and various heating systems. You provide independent and qualified advice.
The role includes:
- Providing energy advice via phone, email, digital meetings, and on-site visits.
- Conducting thermography inspections and energy audits.
- Participating in fairs, lectures, and other outward-facing events and activities.
- Marketing the advisory services through newsletters, advertisements, and informational materials.
- Participating in various regional networks to improve and develop the advisory services.
To thrive in this role, you need strong communication and pedagogical skills, as well as a willingness to provide high-quality service. You enjoy collaborating with others while being structured, self-initiating, and proactive.
The work is primarily during office hours, but weekend and evening activities may occur, such as participating in seminars and fairs. The administration applies generous flex-time frameworks and values a flexible working approach with the possibility of remote work to balance professional and private life.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a relevant higher education, preferably within the energy or climate field. Other educational backgrounds combined with work experience from energy, environmental, or sustainability work may also be relevant. You have a genuine interest and commitment to energy, environmental, and climate issues and wish to contribute to more sustainable development.
Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
Since the position involves travel between different locations, a valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
Previous experience in project management and/or work with energy and climate issues is meritorious. Experience in communication campaigns and information dissemination is also considered an asset.
Employment Type
Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer.
