Maria Parkskolan is Helsingborg Municipality's largest primary school, located in northern Helsingborg. Approximately 1,000 students attend the school, of whom about 400 participate in the after-school care program. The school is beautifully situated in Maria Park and in a newly built section in Mariastaden. The area offers proximity to Pålsjöskog forest, the beach, the sea, and the city's pulse. Our operations cover grades F–9, after-school care, and adapted primary school.

Responsibilities
You will teach our students in grades 7–9 in Social Studies (SO). Being a teacher at Maria Parkskolan means that together with engaged colleagues, you create the best possible quality operations for our students. You deliver accessible teaching of high quality where all students develop as far as possible based on their prerequisites. With your clear leadership, you conduct teaching in a way that promotes and maintains study peace. Your lessons have a clear structure, and the lesson content is explained and put into context for the students. In the classroom, you are clear in your instructions and expectations of the students, while giving students responsibility to solve tasks independently or in groups, while you are an accessible teacher providing support to those who need it.
The assignment also includes mentorship.

Qualifications
We are primarily looking for you who have the qualifications and teacher certification in Social Studies for grades 7–9, but we also welcome applications from those with experience in the role!
You are engaged in guiding students to good results and helping them train and develop their skills, as well as making students feel involved in their own learning. You are confident in building relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have the ability to work independently and goal-oriented based on the primary school curriculum, as well as cross-curricularly in teams with other colleagues. You should be familiar with current course plans, digital tools, and digital teaching, able to adapt and analyze according to students' needs, and create teaching in an accessible learning environment.
