High School Teacher for the Technology Programme at Sundsgymnasiet

Sundsgymnasiet is Vellinge Municipality's upper secondary school with approximately 950 students distributed across five university-preparatory programs and introductory programs. The school is characterized by a positive and welcoming learning environment with a well-functioning student health service, and also houses the municipality's adult education center, Vellinge Lärcenter, with approximately 300 students.

The school is expanding further this autumn and is characterized by attractive theoretical education, elite sports training in equestrian sports, golf, and sailing, as well as advanced arts education. Responsibilities

We are looking for a high school teacher for instruction on the technology programme. The position is a permanent full-time (100%) employment starting on August 10, 2026.

As a teacher at Sundsgymnasiet, you will become part of the school's whole and collaborate with students, guardians, teachers, school leadership, and other school staff. You will work in a driven team where the teaching is largely planned, implemented, and evaluated together. You will contribute to developing the operations and be responsible for high goal fulfillment and good quality.

Qualifications

Are you creative and enjoy teaching creatively with practical elements in your teaching? Then you might be who we are looking for! We are looking for you who can teach and are a certified high school teacher in subjects such as:

• Sustainable Community Building Level 1
• Technology Level 1
• Structures
• Architecture Level 1
• Architecture House

You should be well familiar with the curriculum and regulatory documents for upper secondary school. You must be able to adapt the teaching based on the students' prerequisites and involve the student in your planning, as well as use digital aids as a natural tool to develop students' learning. You are creative and flexible, as well as secure and stable in your professional role, and communicate clearly. You want to work together with colleagues in the work and subject groups in a solution-focused manner. You contribute to and understand your role in the entire school's development and follow technological development. You are interested in research and have good knowledge of proven experience in methodology and pedagogy.
