Do you love being close to nature and the opportunity to develop outdoor pedagogy? Then this is the workplace for you! Fridhem Preschool and School has the forest and countryside as its nearest neighbors. Sustainability and environmental awareness permeate the entire operation; for example, meals are cooked from scratch on-site in the school kitchen, and we have a close collaboration with Friluftsfrämjandet (The Swedish Outdoor Association).

We are a small operation, which allows all children and students to feel safe and develop at their own pace. The operation is run as a parent cooperative, so if you appreciate short decision-making paths and the opportunity to influence and develop the operation, you will thrive here.

We are now looking for a person for our school operation to cover the few instances during the day where subject-specific qualifications are lacking.

You will work close to nature, as our own forest, with its treehouses, play barns, and obstacle course, serves as both the schoolyard and workplace. The younger children in the preschool have their own yard with a playhouse, climbing frame, and swings.

Your profile

We welcome you if you have experience working as a teacher. If you are interested in sustainability issues and outdoor life, we see this as a great asset.

You must have a B-driver's license and access to a car, as public transport to our location is insufficient.

Building relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues comes naturally to you. You take the initiative in social situations and thrive in a context where everyone knows everyone. You solve emerging problems quickly without losing sight of the long-term perspective. As a person, you are secure and inspire trust in the children.

We are looking for teachers with certification in: Swedish, Music, English, Religion, Geography, Wood and Metalwork, Textile Craft, Physical Education and Health, as well as Music and After-School Center Teachers.

The scope of the position is negotiable, but it is a part-time position until June 2027. Certification is required.
