The Education Department is responsible for preschool, compulsory school, special needs school, upper secondary school, and special needs upper secondary school. Responsibilities also include student health services, mother tongue instruction, school transport, and school meals. We work to create an inspiring learning environment for approximately 10,000 children and students. We have a strong vision of building knowledge and creating dreams.

The Workplace
The "Tätort Öster" (Urban East) Principal Area consists of Pilevall School (Grades F-9), the Mother Tongue Unit, School Introduction, and two preschools. The area is led by a principal together with four deputy principals, an administrative manager, and a kitchen manager, viewed from a 1–16-year perspective. The Urban East Principal Area is an area where cultural diversity is a strength.
Pilevall School is a Grades F-9 school with a football profile in the lower secondary stage. Students from both Trelleborg and our neighboring municipalities attend our football profile. Our goal is to, together with the students and guardians, create a good operation with a high level of knowledge and strong social competence, giving our young people the best prerequisites for succeeding in life.

Responsibilities
You will teach Grade 9 in Mathematics and Natural Sciences (NO). Through subject knowledge, good didactics, clear structure, and leadership, you are expected to create the best prerequisites for our students to meet the assessment criteria. Documentation, assessment, and evaluation are natural parts of the job. You will be responsible for planning and implementing teaching according to the curriculum. The role includes mentorship. Together with your colleagues, you will create a developmental environment for the students. This means that, together with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership, you will lead and develop the school's daily operations to increase goal fulfillment.
Qualifications
We are looking for a driven, certified teacher with the qualifications to teach Mathematics and Natural Sciences in Grades 7–9.

As a person, you are development-oriented, proactive, and positive. In addition to subject knowledge, you have good didactic skills, you create clear structure, and you are a natural leader in the classroom. Your communication skills are good, and you can easily see things from a holistic perspective. You have a good ability to collaborate with both students and guardians, as well as with colleagues. You are creative and develop good learning environments for the student, and can adapt when circumstances require it. You inspire and bring students along with you while setting high standards and believing that they can meet your expectations.
