Hammargärdet is a F-6 school with approximately 100 students and 20 dedicated employees. The school is located 30 km outside of Eskilstuna with good bus connections. We are surrounded by a unique environment with proximity to fantastic nature, which contributes to closeness and security for the students. You will become part of our experienced and stable work group, characterized by community and collegial learning. We have a collaboration with Gillberga School because we are part of the same principal's area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At Hammargärdet, we are looking for a new colleague. The class you will teach is age-integrated, which in the autumn will be a year 5-6 class. Sometimes the teaching also takes place in two smaller groups. You are the mentor for the class and teach Swedish, both in your class and the other class on the lower secondary level. Additionally, you also teach natural sciences (NO) or social studies (SO), depending on your qualifications. As a teacher, the assignment includes planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum, LGR22.

Our teachers have close collaboration with each other and continuously exchange knowledge and experiences. You will be part of a small, stable, and well-functioning work team consisting of competent and dedicated colleagues. We actively work on strengthening the holistic view of our students, and we see that good collaboration with guardians has great significance for the students' knowledge development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with ongoing or completed teacher education. We want you to have the qualification to teach Swedish, but a broad qualification is positive. If you have qualifications in natural sciences and/or social studies, it is meritorious. If you have experience working according to the current curriculum (Lgr22), it is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities and see that you are a leader who can adapt your leadership to the situation and can plan and follow up on your work. As a person, you are receptive, have good collaboration skills, and can see the whole picture in the student's school situation. You find it easy to communicate with both adults and students. We believe that you want to develop in your role as a teacher and contribute to the school's continued development. You are a dedicated employee who can create trust and listen to different needs.
