If you find the idea of taking responsibility for an intranet that needs care and attention exciting, keep reading. If you are also good at spreading, anchoring, and following up on internal news (which could range from new visit routines for our schools to students who are the best in Sweden in Young Enterprise), we hope you start considering whether you want to work here.
In more traditional job advertisement language, Edukatus Alliance is looking for a communicator with a focus on internal communication. Your main task will be to develop, coordinate, and drive our internal communication to make it clearer, more relevant, and more engaging for our employees and managers.
The role involves both maintaining and developing. We want to create better information flows, strengthen the sense of connection between our operations, and develop internal channels that are actually used and appreciated.
Since we are a small communications department, we also help out with broader communication work. This can include news articles, conferences, press inquiries, or content for the web and social media.
Responsibilities
The most central aspect is planning and implementing various internal communication initiatives. Currently, this involves a monthly digital information meeting for managers, our intranet including its news feed, and several conferences.
The role also includes contributing to the department's other work as needed, which may involve writing news articles/features for the website and occasionally ads, as well as updates on our various social media platforms. Workloads can be intense at times, and you should expect to travel for work.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- A relevant university degree in communication, journalism, media, or other experience we consider equivalent.
- At least five years of experience in communication work, where internal communication has been a significant part of the role.
- High-quality writing skills, with the ability to write simply and engagingly.
- Experience working with digital publishing on the web and social media.
- Very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish.
Merits
It is a plus if you have:
- Experience working with societal issues or opinion-building.
- Experience in media management.
- Experience working in the privately funded public sector, preferably with independent schools.
- Experience in photography, film, or graphic production.
- Good knowledge of SharePoint as a publishing tool.
Personal Qualities
The most important thing is that you enjoy your job and working together with other people towards a common goal. To thrive with us, you need to be able to take initiative, collaborate with others, and leave any sense of prestige at the door. To succeed in the role, you need to be positive, proactive, and free of ego. Sometimes we have a lot to do, so good stress tolerance is important. You are a sharp writer, have an easy time prioritizing both in your writing and in your work, and take responsibility.
Employment
The position is permanent and full-time at our office in Stockholm. Start date as soon as possible by agreement. We require a certificate of good conduct. We offer individual salary setting and a probationary period. Please state your salary expectations in your application.
