About the Role

This is an opportunity to be involved from the start in a new operation and become part of the establishment of Vattenfall Eldistribution's new monitoring center in Trollhättan. The launch takes place within the framework of an established organization with clear processes, routines, and support from experienced functions within Vattenfall Eldistribution.

The Asset Surveillance (Technical Monitoring) department has national responsibility for Vattenfall Eldistribution's detection capability within the security area of physical protection. This includes the operation and management of all security technology as well as full operational and staffing responsibility for our monitoring centers.

As a monitoring center operator, you will be part of a shift-working team that operates 24/7 to monitor and analyze the security situation in real-time for our critical assets. The position involves shift work around the clock, all year round.

Your duties include, among other things, video surveillance, alarm handling, and incident management affecting our systems and assets.

As an operator, you serve as a crucial communication link between various authorities and other functions within Vattenfall Eldistribution. The role is operational and requires precision, sound judgment, and a strong security mindset.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Has professional experience in the field, preferably as an alarm operator or security guard
• Is focused and observant, as video surveillance and alarm handling are central tasks
• Can make quick and well-founded decisions in pressured situations
• Cares about security and takes responsibility in protecting societal-critical functions
• Has good communication and collaboration skills
• Has experience working with technical systems
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish and English

Personal suitability is highly valued. You are secure, stable, and security-conscious, and you find it easy to collaborate and communicate with others.
