Humleskolan – A School for Everyone in Central Bromölla

Humleskolan is located in central Bromölla and is a four-track school with approximately 330 students. The facilities at Humleskolan are adapted for a natural division into work teams. Together, educators and students from grades 7, 8, and 9 form four work teams. Each work team has its own corridor with an entrance, classrooms, group rooms, science labs, and a cafeteria. We share common spaces in the school's entrance hall and lecture rooms for music, art, home economics, and physical education and health. In the modern language groups, students from the different teams are mixed.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a special needs teacher for the municipality's special education group Hjulet for grades 7–9.

As a special needs teacher in our group, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work. You actively work on finding strategies that allow each student to develop based on their prerequisites and strengthen their knowledge development.

The role involves close collaboration with other educators, the school's student health team, and special educators. In the instructional group, you work together with teachers and social pedagogues, and the students also have parts of their instruction in their regular classes. You have a strong interest in working with students with special needs and problematic school absenteeism.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher with further education as a special needs teacher, specializing in mathematics or Swedish, or has competence that the employer deems equivalent.
• Has good competence to work with students with NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and assessment of support needs.
• Possesses a good ability to collaborate and build good relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, management, and external actors.
• Is confident and sensitive with a very good ability to guide and motivate.
