At Önnestadsgymnasiet, we offer five specializations and a total of 9 vocational pathways within the Natural Resource Program. Here, we teach and study natural resources in a practical sense through the specializations forestry, animal care, nature tourism, horse keeping, and agriculture. The tone between staff and students is personal, the classes are small, and both the facilities and educational land are of high quality.

Since 2010, Hushållningssällskapet Skåne has been the main employer for Önnestadsgymnasiet, providing a stable and secure foundation for the operations.

There are just over 50 employees working in coordination for our 230 students. Önnestadsgymnasiet is located 8 km northwest of Kristianstad.

About the position

We are currently looking for a substitute teacher in Biology and Natural Science for the academic year 2026/2027. The role also includes supporting students in mathematics when needed, particularly in connection with their vocational studies within the Natural Resource Program.

As a teacher here, you are part of a teaching team where you plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching in close collaboration with colleagues. Mentorship and other joint tasks are a natural part of the role. You actively contribute to the school's pedagogical development and to a safe and study-motivating environment for our students.

About you

We are looking for someone who is engaged, structured, and has a relationship-building approach. You thrive working closely with both students and colleagues and see the value of collaboration in teaching and student support. You have pedagogical flexibility and the ability to meet students with different prerequisites.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Teacher's degree with eligibility in Biology and/or Natural Science
• Ability and interest in supporting students in mathematics
• Good collaboration skills and willingness to work in a team
• Ability to take responsibility for mentorship and joint tasks
