About the assignment

Novare is a proud and approved supplier under the Swedish government framework agreement. We are now seeking two consultants with legal expertise for an assignment with a government agency based in Gothenburg.

In this role, you will primarily work with confidentiality assessments of documents related to requests for access to public records. The duties also include handling appeals regarding disclosures, matters concerning disclosure within private operations, and cases related to the handling of medical record archives. Furthermore, you will support managers and employees with legal questions and conduct smaller legal investigations in the area. Other duties may occur.

The following tasks may also be included in this position:

• conduct investigations with a legal focus
• draft and review contracts and other legal documents
• follow legal developments and provide advice within the current legal field

As a consultant at the agency, you work in a socially important operation where legal certainty, structure, and quality are in focus. We are therefore looking for you who are service-oriented, flexible, and solution-oriented. You have good self-leadership, are responsible, and find it easy to quickly get up to speed with new tasks and operations.

Requirements for the position

• Master of Laws (Jur. Cand.), Law degree, or equivalent education
• At least one (1) year of work experience as a lawyer
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Experience in legal investigative work
• Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents
• Ability to follow legal developments and provide legal advice

Desirable requirements for the position

• Experience in public operations or government agencies
• Experience in confidentiality assessments and disclosure of public records
• Experience in administrative law matters
• Experience working in healthcare, social care, or supervisory activities
• Ability to provide references from similar assignments

Assignment period and scope

The assignment is planned to start in June, and the scope is estimated at approximately 100% of a full-time position per consultant during the contract period. The location is at the agency's office in Jönköping. Remote work may be permitted, but initially, the consultant is expected to work on-site.
