In this role, you will hold a key position in how we develop our business within the mining segment in Sweden. You will collaborate closely with both local and regional colleagues and contribute to a culture characterized by collaboration, innovation, and engagement – what we call One Epiroc.
Your mission
As a Business Development Manager Mining, you are responsible for developing our Rock Drilling Tools business in Sweden in line with regional strategy. You translate overarching goals into concrete activities and work closely with the sales organization to strengthen our offering and create value for customers. The role combines business development with operational support in customer dialogues and major deals, where you also ensure structure in follow-up and execution.
Responsibilities include:
- Prioritize and drive business initiatives within the Rock Drilling Tools business in Sweden, in line with strategic goals
- Support the sales team in complex deals, quotations, and customer dialogues
- Contribute to major deals through work on contracts, pricing, and sales strategy
- Build and develop relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners
- Ensure follow-up of customer activities, tests, and availability in the supply chain
In this role, you lead a team consisting of a Contract Manager and a Steel Drilling Technician, and report to the Regional Business Line Manager for Rock Drilling Tools.
Travel within Sweden is a natural part of the role, as you collaborate with customers and colleagues across the country, with a focus on central and northern Sweden.
Your profile
You enjoy building relationships and developing business, and you thrive in a role where you take ownership and drive things forward. You are structured in your approach, collaborative, and confident in dialogues with both customers and internal stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
- Experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, preferably within the mining or construction industry
- Ability to build trusting and long-term relationships, both internally and externally
- Interest in developing business and turning ideas into concrete results
- A structured and driving work style, with a willingness to collaborate and contribute to the team's success
- Ability to communicate clearly in both Swedish and English
- Experience in drilling or knowledge of Epiroc's operations (meritorious)
Location and travel
This position is based in Sweden, with the possibility of being based at one of our facilities in central or northern Sweden. Regular travel is included in the role.
