Montessori Mondial Kristianstad is looking for a resource teacher (special needs teacher) for our intermediate grades and after-school activities.

The position is 100% with a start date of August 17th. The position is primarily for one year.

Montessori Mondial is a free school located in central Kristianstad. The school has approximately 430 students in grades F-9.

We are looking for someone who...

... keeps the student's best interests in mind, has a high level of responsibility, and is passionate about working with students with special needs.

You are relationship-building and collaborate well, and are a calm, stable, yet alert adult who can quickly shift focus.

You have good knowledge of NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and experience working with low-affective approaches.

You have good pedagogical skills and experience in adapting teaching to the individual student's needs, as well as using digital tools and visual supports.

Responsibilities:

As a resource teacher, you work with students in need of support and provide support to one or more students inside the classroom.

You will work on creating safety, routines, and maintaining close collaboration with the responsible teachers.

In your role as a resource teacher, you are a good role model.

Your Experience:

Relevant education and experience in similar tasks are meritorious.

Great importance will be attached to your personal suitability.
