Lyckeby Preschools comprise four units, and we are currently seeking dedicated early childhood educators for three of them: Rosenhill, Rosenborg, and Bullerbyn. These preschools are centrally located in Lyckeby, with proximity to both playgrounds and beautiful forest areas, creating excellent conditions for a varied and stimulating learning environment.

Rosenhill is a modern and relatively newly built preschool with six departments, while Rosenborg and Bullerbyn each consist of two departments. The operations are organized into age-grouped classes, including both younger and older children's departments, enabling a pedagogical approach adapted to the children's developmental levels.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to help create a safe, developmental, and inspiring learning environment for our youngest? We are now seeking dedicated early childhood educators for Lyckeby Preschools!

As an early childhood educator, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing teaching in accordance with the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for preschools. You lead the pedagogical work and create an operation where children are given the opportunity to grow, explore, and learn based on their own prerequisites. In this role, you work thematically and project-oriented with the children's interests as a starting point, while simultaneously developing accessible and inclusive learning environments. You view children as competent individuals and capitalize on their curiosity, participation, and desire to learn, while actively contributing to the pedagogical development of the operation.

Employment Terms and Locations

We are seeking a total of 6 early childhood educators. The employment period is from August 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

• Bullerbyn (2 positions): Fixed-term employment in an enhanced teaching team.
• Rosenborg (1 position): Fixed-term employment in an enhanced teaching team.
• Rosenhill (2 positions): Temporary substitute positions during parental leave.
• Rosenhill (1 position): Shorter employment period from August 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who:

• Are a certified early childhood educator.
• Have experience working in preschools.
• Have good knowledge of the preschool curriculum.
• Have clear pedagogical leadership skills.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience with children in need of special support.
• Knowledge of or experience with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).
• Experience working with pictorial support and/or sign language support.

You have a professional approach, are secure, calm, and clear in your interactions, and have the ability to meet children based on their different needs and prerequisites. You work pedagogically with a low-affective approach and contribute to an inclusive and developmental work climate. Furthermore, you are receptive, collaboration-oriented, and involved in the preschool's joint development work.
