Snäckebacksskolan – A Part of Ronneby Municipality's Future
Snäckebacksskolan is one of the municipality's two schools for grades 4-9. The school was launched during the autumn term of 2024 in newly built, beautiful premises and is located centrally in Ronneby, right next to the green area Snäckebacken. It is within walking distance to the city center, swimming pool, sports hall, and the beautiful Brunnsparken. It is also within walking distance to the railway station for those commuting from other locations.
For the academic year 2026/2027, the school will have approximately 450 students distributed across grades 4-9. In the lower secondary school, full-time mentors are assigned to all classes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching in Spanish (grades 6-9) and English (grades 7-9).
In the role of a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues. You actively work to meet each student based on their prerequisites and needs, with the goal of promoting knowledge development and goal fulfillment.
Together with the work team, you contribute to developing and maintaining the school's value base and view of knowledge, where active and conscious value-based work is a natural part of daily operations. You show engagement and initiative and participate in the school's systematic quality work.
In this role, you contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. You work to motivate students and strengthen their will and ability to learn. You are well acquainted with the school's steering documents and ensure that documentation is carried out according to current requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
You must have a teaching license with eligibility to teach in the subjects relevant to the position. Other persons who hold pedagogical education that the employer deems equivalent may be considered, but then for a fixed-term employment.
You must be able to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, students, guardians, and other professions you encounter in your profession.
You have good knowledge of and experience working based on the primary school's steering documents and documentation requirements.
You have experience teaching in the current grade level.
Since an extract from the criminal record is a statutory requirement for work within the school, such must be presented to you if you become a candidate for the position.
