We are now looking for a Teacher for grades 4-6 at Brännaregårdsskolan, our F-6 school with a leisure center located in the northern part of central Olofström.

Brännaregårdsskolan is situated in a fantastic environment, nestled in the beech forest in a beautiful natural area. The proximity to nature is a natural part of the schoolyard, stimulating creativity and creation among stones, trees, and bushes. Approximately 395 students attend the school, and about 50 employees work here.

At Brännaregårdsskolan, staff work in year-level teams, where educators teach students according to their qualifications and interests. This creates conditions for increasing student goal achievement through collaboration and joint assessment among educators. By leveraging each other's competencies, we become more flexible and have the opportunity to develop our students further in their knowledge acquisition. At our school, everyone should feel comfortable, safe, and experience job satisfaction. Teamwork is characterized by a "we" feeling and having a holistic view of the students from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM – One house for all students.

Job Responsibilities

The role involves planning learning processes together with your colleagues, as well as conducting, following up, and evaluating teaching with a foundation in the curriculum.

Together with the work team, you are responsible for:

• creating and developing a safe environment that attracts and challenges children's development, influence, and learning
• regularly conducting pedagogical discussions and preparing, evaluating, and documenting the activity
• developing good relationships with children and their parents

You work pedagogically together with your colleagues to challenge children's learning and development. You have an inclusive perspective, adapting the learning environment for the benefit of all students. With the curriculum as a starting point, you work with the children and give students the opportunity to develop their abilities. You create creativity, curiosity, and approach learning in a playful and joyful manner.

Qualifications

Teacher's degree for grades 4-6 with a teaching license.

Personal Qualities

You find it easy to collaborate with others, can take initiative, have a good attitude and approach, and are skilled at building good relationships with both children and adults.
