Torhamn School is a grades F-6 school with just over fifty students. A large proportion of the students are enrolled in the after-school center (fritidshem) and stay there even as they get older. With us, you become part of a small school where students and staff know each other well. We are proud of our strong collaboration between the school and the after-school center – here we work together to create a holistic approach to learning, development, and security for the students throughout the day.

Job Responsibilities

The After-School Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and developing education in the after-school center according to the Education Act and the curriculum. The role aims to complement the school's education by offering students a meaningful leisure time that promotes learning, security, social development, and well-being.

Qualifications

• Degree as an After-School Teacher.
• Licensed teacher with a specialization in after-school education.
• Good knowledge of the after-school center's regulatory documents and mission.
• Ability to build good relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians.
