WORK ASSIGNMENTS

In Ronneby Municipality, there is adapted compulsory school at Kuggebodaskolan and Kallingeskolan. In adapted compulsory school, students with intellectual disabilities attend classes.

You will be part of a work team consisting of both educators and student support staff. Your task is to facilitate, help, and support the students. You will also work some time at the leisure center.

The work should be designed with regard to the students' needs and prerequisites in learning situations and in social interaction. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the students to develop their abilities and create opportunities for learning. You should also promote close collaboration with other school staff as well as with guardians.

We are looking for someone who enjoys their profession and has a strong desire to develop and learn more. We place great importance on personal suitability.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be able to communicate and build good relationships with students, colleagues, guardians, and other professionals you encounter in your profession.

You are familiar with sign language communication and visual supports. You are also accustomed to working digitally and have an interest in daring to try new things.

You have a positive view of students and experience and knowledge regarding students with intellectual disabilities.

You have a low-affective and self-reflective approach.
