Buskoviusskolan

is a grades F-5 school located in the center of Särna. We often take advantage of the proximity to both forest and lake. Approximately 45 students attend Buskoviusskolan.

Responsibilities

Together with the teachers, you work to support a student, both in the classroom, during breaks, during transitions, and at lunch. The role involves carrying out certain planned activities together with an individual student or a small student group, so pedagogical insight is important. Early mornings and late afternoons may occur.

Who are we looking for?

To thrive in the role of student assistant and as a member of the work team, you need to have excellent collaboration skills. You adapt easily to new conditions and contribute ideas and solutions in emerging situations, always considering the best interests of the entire operation. Buskoviusskolan collaborates with Strandskolan in Idre.

Working with students and helping them succeed requires the ability to build relationships easily, with students, colleagues, and guardians. You need to be present in every moment with the students while also having expectations that they can succeed.

The work as a student assistant can be both fantastic and challenging, so to thrive, you need the ability to handle stress well.

We are looking for you who have upper secondary or adult education within the Child and Leisure program or the Care and Health program.

Other education combined with experience that the employer deems relevant for the assignment may also be considered.

We also look for applicants who have documented knowledge and experience working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) issues. Knowledge of low-arousal approaches is meritorious.
