Now is your chance to become part of the Construction and Civil Engineering program at Carl Engström Gymnasium! We are looking for a certified teacher with a background in house construction or civil engineering to support students in achieving success both in school and in working life.

Your Role

You will teach courses in Construction and Civil Engineering and share responsibility for Work Integrated Learning (WIL/APL). The position includes mentorship and standard teaching duties. Together with your colleagues, you will develop the teaching and the program, taking responsibility for the students.

Your Experience

You have a background in house construction or civil engineering. You are confident in your teaching, whether in the workshop, the classroom, or during follow-up visits at workplaces. You are calm, stable, and skilled at building relationships with students, guardians, and industry representatives.

About the Workplace

Carl Engström Gymnasium is a municipal upper secondary school offering both vocational and university-preparatory programs. The school has approximately 750 students and 120 employees. The school also hosts introductory programs and a specialized upper secondary school.

The Construction program at Carl Engström is a stable organization with qualified teachers, low staff turnover, and well-functioning facilities. We offer specializations in house construction and civil engineering. In year 1, learning is school-based, while in years 2 and 3, the majority of teaching is conducted through WIL (APL). In our team, we want all employees to be involved, take responsibility, and develop the teaching.
