Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities based on the steering documents for leisure-time centers (after-school programs). Your role

You work to support the children's development and give them opportunities for various leisure activities, as well as developing the children's social skills and knowledge. At Bjärnum School, teachers in leisure-time centers also work in the school in various ways based on our students' needs. This may, for example, mean that you are a support for the students during breaks or lead break activities. It may also mean that you step in to support in classrooms. This creates a bridge between leisure time and school and gives the students security, support, and a holistic approach.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in leisure-time centers and who are driven by the opportunity to influence the students' development in the leisure-time center in close collaboration with other colleagues at the school.

Experience working as a teacher in leisure-time centers and in primary school is meritorious.

As a teacher in leisure-time centers, you should have good communication skills, be proactive, have good collaboration skills, and be able to meet people. We expect you to have good IT skills as well as good collaboration skills towards children, guardians, and your colleagues. We place great value on creating a pleasant environment for both students and staff and expect you to share the same viewpoint.

About us

The Child and Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, upper secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and get to be their best. The administration's task is to coordinate, plan, and support the various activities and to work for coordination between school and working life.

Bjärnum School is a grades F-9 school, which together with Mala School constitutes a principal area. Bjärnum School has approx. 360 students in grades F-9. The leadership consists of the principal and two assistant principals.

The school is located approx. 15 minutes by car north of Hässleholm. There are also good train and bus connections to Bjärnum, where the school is located within walking distance from the station.
