Are you our new employee?

Strandskolan is a grades 1-9 school located in central Idre, close to the mountains, lake, and forest. Approximately 135 students attend our school. Our teaching includes many elements of outdoor activities, such as mountain hiking and skiing. In the lower secondary school, students participate in reindeer herding and try sleeping in tents outdoors during winter. The school's sports association is very active, and we participate in RF-SISU's Sports Initiative.

What you will be working with

As a study counselor, you guide students who need support in various subjects so they can follow regular instruction and achieve the goals. As a study counselor, you work together with the students' subject teachers and provide support in Russian.

Extent: 40%

Duration: Autumn term 2026

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with Russian as your native language.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language. You can communicate fluently in speech and writing in both Swedish and Russian and are interested in familiarizing yourself with the curriculum for compulsory school.

You enjoy working in a team, you are flexible, and you do not hesitate to try new working methods. Developing together with colleagues, individual students, and student groups energizes you.

As a person, you are driven by identifying students' needs and meeting them at their level. You have the ability to build good relationships and collaborate easily with students, guardians, and colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
