At Röke School, you will have the opportunity to work in a small team with strong cohesion and great commitment. We have approximately 75 students, and everyone knows everyone, both children and adults. Your Role

You will share teaching and mentoring duties in grades 1-2 with our lead teacher, and you will also serve as a substitute teacher in case of staff absence. This means you may substitute as a teacher for grades F-6, as a leisure-time center teacher, and as a student assistant.

As a teacher in grades 1-2, you will be responsible, together with your colleague, for:

• Planning, teaching, and evaluation.
• Documentation and communication via Schoolsoft.
• Creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where all students can develop from their own level.

As a substitute teacher, you will become an important adult figure for our students since you will interact with all of them in various roles. You will also be a key person in the school's daily life, stepping in wherever there is a need for an extra adult.

Who Are You?

We would like you to be a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach in grades F–6 and be interested in working with students in a broader role than just teaching.

You are:

• Creative and inspiring, with the ability to motivate students.
• Receptive and sees each student's strengths as a starting point.
• Curious about new knowledge and accustomed to integrating cross-curricular topics (KL) into different subjects.
• Good at handling conflicts and challenging situations in a calm and respectful manner.
• Skilled at building relationships with children/young people aged 6-12.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police record) must be presented before employment. The service will be appointed subject to appropriate decisions being made.

About Us

The Child and Education Department is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, upper secondary schools, special schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and become their best selves. The department's task is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and to work for coordination between school and working life.

The position is located at Röke School. We have close collaborative and development work within the principal's area for F-6 in Tyringe, Röke, Finja, and Västra Torup. In the area, we work with three focus areas: student participation, students' linguistic ability, and safety and study environment.

Röke School is a village school with a fantastic location near nature, which is a great asset for the students' development and learning. We are an F-6 school with approximately 75 students and two leisure-time centers.
