Your Role

You will teach in grades 4–6, sometimes in mixed-age groups and sometimes in age-homogeneous groups, sharing the responsibility for teaching with two colleagues.

You will be responsible for:

• Planning, teaching, and evaluation.
• Documentation and communication via Schoolsoft.
• Creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where all students can develop from their own level.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach grades 4–6 in English, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences, although there may be some opportunities to adapt the subjects to your specific qualifications. Experience in teaching is meritorious.

You are:

• Creative and inspiring, with the ability to motivate students.
• Perceptive and sees each student's strengths as a starting point.
• Curious about new knowledge.
• Accustomed to integrating curriculum requirements (KL) into various subjects.
• Good at handling conflicts and challenging situations in a calm and respectful manner.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police record) must be presented before employment. (The Criminal Record Register - request extract | The Swedish Police Authority). The position will be filled subject to appropriate decisions being made.

About Us

The Child and Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, upper secondary schools, adapted schools, and arts schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and become their best selves. The administration's task is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and work for coordination between school and working life.

The position is located at Röke School. We have close collaboration and development work within the principal's area for grades F–6 in Tyringe, Röke, Finja, and Västra Torup. In the area, we work with three focus areas: student participation, students' linguistic ability, and safety and study environment.

Röke School is a rural school with a fantastic location near nature, which is a great asset for students' development and learning. We are an F–6 school with approximately 75 students and two after-school centers.
