Do you want to strengthen the Swedish Forest Agency's work on gender equality?

We are looking for you who, together with the management, want to drive and develop the Swedish Forest Agency's strategic work for a gender-equal agency and a gender-equal forest sector. The regular Gender Equality Strategist will be on leave, so we are now looking for a substitute.

Responsibilities

Your main task will be to work with the agency's gender equality mainstreaming. This includes, among other things:

• Coordinating and supporting the work on gender equality mainstreaming in close collaboration with managers, management groups, and our management and operational processes.
• Preparing and managing various steering documents related to gender equality mainstreaming.
• Conducting environmental scanning and networking, as well as communicating results and lessons learned internally and externally.

You will also participate in the work of the Forest Sector's Gender Equality Council and assist HR in the work on active measures.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an academic social science education, such as in gender studies, political science, sociology, or behavioral science. The position requires extensive knowledge of Swedish gender equality policy as well as experience in strategic gender equality work. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your ability to collaborate. It is important that you can express yourself very well in both speech and writing in Swedish.

We also assess that you should have:

• Experience from the public sector.
• Experience and knowledge of organizational development and change management.
• Good communication skills and experience in translating and conveying gender equality theories into practical operations.

What we offer you

We offer a fixed-term position, full-time, from August 10, 2026, to June 11, 2027.

The position is located at one of the Swedish Forest Agency's offices in one of our districts.
