The Education Department is responsible for preschool, primary school, special needs primary school, upper secondary school, and special needs upper secondary school. The responsibility also covers student health services, mother-tongue instruction, school transport, and school meals. Description

The Principal Area of Urban East consists of Pilevallskolan F-9, the Mother Tongue Unit, School Introduction, and two preschools. The area is led by the principal together with four deputy principals and an administrative manager from a 1–16-year perspective. The Principal Area of Urban East is an area whose cultural diversity is a strength. Pilevallskolan is an F-9 school. The school has a football profile in the lower secondary stage. Students from both Trelleborg and our neighboring municipalities attend our football profile. Our goal is to work together with students and guardians to create a good operation with a high level of knowledge and great social competence, giving our young people the best prerequisites for succeeding in life.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will teach French to grades 6–9 at Pilevallskolan on a 50% basis. It may also be relevant to teach French at another school on a 25% basis. Through subject knowledge, good didactics, clear structure, and leadership, you are expected to create the best prerequisites for our students to meet the assessment criteria. Documentation, assessment, and evaluation are natural parts of the work. You will be responsible for planning and implementing teaching according to the curriculum. Together, you and your colleagues create a developing environment for the students. This means that together with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership, you lead and develop the school's daily operations to increase goal fulfillment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teacher certification with eligibility to teach the subject of French. You have good knowledge of the primary school's steering documents as well as good skills in Swedish in speech and writing. You are a secure and stable person with good self-insight who collaborates well with others in a listening and smooth manner. The work is structured and carried out with good planning, clear organization, and effective follow-up. Communication is clear and ensures that the message reaches its audience and that expectations are clear for all involved. Differences are valued, and there is an understanding of how background, culture, and group affiliation affect both the individual and others. This insight is taken into account when making decisions and choosing courses of action.
