Woodwork and Art Teacher for Sätoftaskolan in Höör

Sätoftaskolan is a school for grades F-9 with an associated after-school center. The school also houses the municipality's adapted primary school. The school is beautifully located near a lake and forest with an inspiring outdoor environment. It is possible to commute to and from the school using public transport.

Approximately 500 students attend the school. The school has one principal and two deputy principals. The staff is divided into different work teams and teaching groups led by the school's team leaders/head teachers.

Job Description

We are now looking for a woodwork and art teacher with competence in textiles, wood/metalwork, and art.

You have experience teaching in adapted primary school and meeting students with Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) both as a subject and as an area of study. In your role, you teach aesthetic activities, woodwork, and art in the adapted primary school, and woodwork in the lower grades of the primary school. Other duties may also be included in your position, such as break duty and planning relief.

In your role, you create a learning environment that is inspiring, educational, and joyful. You work formatively and base your teaching on each student's needs and prerequisites.

Qualifications

You have a teaching license with eligibility in the subject of woodwork or experience teaching woodwork in primary school as well as adapted primary school.
