To our client with offices in central Stockholm, we are now looking for a Payroll Coordinator for an interim assignment of approximately 6 months with immediate start. The role is based at the client's office and suits you if you thrive in a social and present work environment with close collaboration with colleagues and external contacts.

About the role

We are now looking for a Payroll Coordinator for our client in an international environment. In this role, you are responsible for coordinating and quality-assuring global payroll processes in several countries within an outsourced setup. You act as the contact person towards external payroll partners and ensure that payroll deliveries are accurate, on time, and in compliance with current regulations.

The role focuses on coordination, controls, reconciliations, and process improvements, as well as having many contact points both internally and externally.

Main responsibilities

  • Coordinate global payroll processes and payroll runs
  • Ensure accurate payroll deliveries
  • Handle controls, reconciliations, and quality assurance
  • Act as the contact person for external payroll providers
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
  • Work with payroll-related data in HR and payroll systems

Your profile

We are looking for you who preferably have experience with global payroll and thrive in an international and changing environment. You are structured, meticulous, and have a strong focus on quality and delivery, while also being curious, proactive, and solution-oriented.

For this role, it is more important that you have the right drive and attitude than a specific number of years of experience. You are confident in taking responsibility, dare to challenge existing ways of working, and have the ability to work both operationally and developmentally. The role requires that you can immerse yourself in and understand payroll flows in several countries, even if you have not previously worked fully in a global payroll context.

You have experience in payroll work and are accustomed to working with payroll processes, reconciliations, and quality assurance. Experience from a consultancy or larger organization is meritorious. Furthermore, you have a strong interest in systems and a good understanding of how different processes and flows are interconnected.

You are communicative and thrive in a role with many contact points where you collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. You feel comfortable presenting solutions, justifying decisions, and driving change initiatives forward.

Qualifications

  • Experience in payroll work, preferably within global payroll or outsourced environments
  • Good understanding of payroll processes, controls, and regulations
  • Experience with reconciliations and quality assurance
  • Good skills in Excel
  • Ability to build, improve, and develop processes
  • Accustomed to setting requirements and driving change initiatives
  • Fluent in Swedish and comfortable in English speaking and writing
